German Speaking Marketing & PR Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a fluent German speaking Marketing & PR Executive to join Cara’s dynamic team of 30+ people, working out of our office in East Croydon, Greater London. There will be occasional travel within Europe as well as to the Caribbean & Mexico as part of the role. Reporting to the Senior Marketing & PR Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to initiate and carry out regular Marketing & PR activity with key partners in German speaking markets, specifically for Cara Hotel Marketing’s client - AMResorts. Coordinating the promotion of AMResorts’ products in the Caribbean, Mexico & Europe via numerous trade and consumer marketing channels is important, as well as maintaining strong travel trade and media relationships in order to generate optimum PR coverage. 

 The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the European travel trade, including media partners and tour operator/tourist board Marketing & PR departments
  • Regularly proofing client product content in tour operator sales collateral, to ensure adherence to client brand guidelines and that all information is factually correct before signing off in time to meet copy deadlines
  • Providing support to the Senior Marketing & PR Manager to coordinate, implement and track trade media, tour operator and travel agent joint marketing initiatives
  • Co-ordinating the content, design and successful communication of German language travel agent newsletters, trade marketing and press releases on behalf of Cara Hotel Marketing and its clients

Person Profile

  • Fully fluent in English and German

Russian Speaking Sales & Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary

We are looking for a fluent Russian speaking Sales & Marketing Executive to join Cara’s dynamic team of 30+ people, working out of our office in East Croydon, Greater London. The role is on a fixed term (10 months) basis as Maternity Cover starting in May/June 2019. There will be regular travel to Russia/Ukraine as well as a familiarisation trip to the Caribbean as part of the role.

The primary purpose of this role is to increase distribution, sales and market share specifically for Cara Hotel Marketing’s client - AMResorts. This will be achieved through managing our relationships with tour operators in Russian, Ukraine & CIS markets in order to secure the best possible sales and marketing opportunities, as well as educating travel agents in their native language in order to ensure that AMResorts receives the optimum level of product and brand awareness.

 The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with tour operators, travel agents and tourist boards in Russia, Ukraine and other CIS markets.
  • Analysing and interpreting monthly client statistical reporting, in order to be fully aware of each key tour operator account’s performance in relation to targets, and to proactively implement recovery strategies and activities where necessary.
  • Regularly proofing Russian language product content in tour operator sales collateral, to ensure that all information is factually correct before signing off in time to meet copy deadlines.
  • Co-ordinating the content, design and successful communication of Russian language travel agent newsletters, trade marketing and press releases on behalf of Cara Hotel Marketing and its clients.
  • Conducting regular AMResorts product training presentations to travel agents and tour operator reservations staff throughout Russia, Ukraine and other CIS markets in Russian.

 Person Profile

  • Fluency in English and Russian is essential.
  • You must be allowed to legally work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
